OMG! Girls are so much easier to potty train than boys…Korbyn was a struggle. I tried everything from books, candy, stickers, praise and toys. Nothing worked. Until, one day he finally pooped on the potty and poof was potty trained over-night and never had a accident since that day. It took a long time to get there…3.5 years old. Nevaeh was potty trained by 2.5 so I thought he would be just as easy.

Paityn is so ready for the potty and is very excited about it. For the last months she has been going several times a day and actually can pull me over to the potty when she has to go. I am so proud of her. She is so protective of her potty and doesn’t want you to move it even an inch. It is her own little throne! I love singing the potty dance song with her!!! What fun this is….I know it can be frustrating also. I am enjoying this since Paityn is our last baby!!

I was scrolling through some pictures and found this picture from 2008. WOW! Time flies and I can’t believe how fast my kids are growing.

Each day I am home with the kids we try to do a least one thing that puts us in the Christmas mood!
I picked up a Wilton Gingerbread Cookie decorating kit at Micheal’s! This was perfect for me since I didn’t have the time to actually bake the cookies.

Russell my husband is a Star Wars buff! He loves the little figures and has collected a ton of them over the years. When he lost his job in 2007, and money was tight he ended up selling them on ebay for whatever money he could get.

Lately, Korbyn has been playing with the few figures we had left at the house. So I always keep my eye on the look out for Star wars stuff.

Korbyn and I ran to Aj Wright early on a Saturday morning and right away I saw four boxes of the Galactic Heroes..4 boxes that were 2 of the same. I scooped them up right away cause I know that they are worth a lot of money on ebay. I paid $12.99 for each set and they are selling for around $80.00 each on ebay! WHOO HOO! SCORE!

Best part was that I could tell my hubby that I really was listening all the times he thought I was zoning out when he was talking to me about the figures!! She honey…sometimes I do listen.

Now Momma needs a new pair of shoes!!!

On Saturday we put up our Christmas tree to surprise Daddy when he gets home from work. We bought a slim line artificial tree from Target last year and I forgot that it was a pre-lit tree. HOTDOG! That was a great surprise and made my life a lot easier.

My poor little man Korbyn has pink eye in this picture..that is why his eyes look so bad. Poor Kid.

Paityn has been a trooper and hasn’t been plucking off the ornaments of yet.

We put on a Christmas movie and hung all the ornaments together. Nevaeh put the angel on top and it was complete.
A wonderful day and another wonderful memory!

Yep, after stamping our Christmas cards one afternoon…I turned around and saw this. A very unhappy little Paityn. It was nap time and she was on meltdown. She totally inked her whole face which at first appeared as if she was bleeding. Then I realized that we left the ink pads where she could reach them and within about 3 minutes had decorated herself. Not fun to clean up. Yep, and mean ole’ Mom took a picture of her first before cleaning her up.

C’mon! I have to have some pictures to show here what a stinker she is some times.

Lesson learned…put all of your craft supplies away before walking out of the room.

As the weather turns frigid cold here in Michigan my kids were able to spend one last weekend out in the sun. Two weekends ago the weather was so beautiful that we were all able to play outside with no coats on and I was sporting bare feet! We had a wonderful day spending family time together.

Take time to spend those special moments with your kids! They go by so fast…don’t miss one!
